Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me. 29. Holy crap, I’m going to be 30 in 365 days. Wow. Moving on.

My neck still hurt a little bit tonight, but MUCH better than the last few days. My hopes of sleeping in came crashing down when Christian sent the girls into our room with some birthday cards for me, bright and early. At least they’re cute, and they were full of “Happy Birthday’s” and pieces of the Birthday song.

After breakfast, some play and some showering, we were off to have lunch with my dad and stepmom. There is a super yummy Panini restaurant by their house that I love, so we stopped in there. SO GOOD! I wanted to go to the beach for a while afterwards, but Christian didn’t really seem into it, and we weren’t sure when today’s storm was going to roll in. So, instead, we just stopped at the park down the street from my dad’s for a while.

Surprisingly, the girls didn’t fall asleep on the way home. Actually worked out better that way though, because then they took a nice, LONG nap once we were home. Christian and I snuggled up on the couch and watched another movie, this time “Contraband”. Another good one.

After naps, the girls and I hung out in the pool for a while, and Christian made us dinner. The storms rolled in as we were eating dinner, and it got pretty ugly again. Crazy spring storms!

So, that was about it. Another birthday, come and gone. It was a quiet, low key day. Probably just what I needed! Here are some pictures from the park today...
