We really didn’t do too much tonight. We all just kind of found leftovers in the fridge to eat for diner, and just took it easy. It’s still sad, and hard to be at home. We keep expecting to see Frank jump up over the stairs or pop out from under the bed. I expect him to jump off the couch when I go downstairs and follow me around the basement. There was a story on the local news tonight about some animal rescues at an apartment fire the other night…they showed one of the cats, and it looked JUST like Frank. I feel like I’m reminded of him everywhere right now. I knew losing a pet was going to be hard, but I just never knew how it would affect me…I never expected it to be THIS hard.
After work we really just hung out. Thankfully the girls have no idea what’s going on, so they just laugh and play and provide us just the distraction that we need. Amelia is loving her Sweet Potatoes, but is still very uneasy about the Avocado. She’ll be moving on to a new food in a couple of days, so we’ll see how that goes!
Today, Olivia decided one of her baby’s could hitch a ride with Amelia. Safety first, right?!
