Well, we got a fresh coating of snow during the night....This is always kind of a double edged sword for me. The look of a fresh coat of snow is great...it cleans everything up, make everything all glittery and pretty, and it's actually slightly warmer out when it's snowing. All pluses...I LOVE winter...I will always take winter over the heat and humidity of summer! BUT, I just wish people in Minnesota would finally figure out how to drive in this stuff! We get snow every year, our vehicles are equipped with those little things called ALL SEASON TIRES for a reason. When you slam on your brakes or drive like a d-bag, that's when you get into an accident. Just drive like a normal person, pay attention, and you'll be fine! Seriously....This is how my drive from the AV to the STP went this morning...the WHOLE way:
Yup, 30 MPH or less the entire way. It's horrible, and I hate it. Can't wait to see what the afternoon drive will be like :(On the plus side, our prayers were answered and we got a FULL NIGHT OF SLEEP!!! It's amazing what that will do for you after a few sleepless nights...you truly forget how great sleep is! However, I suppose we shouldn't get too used to it!
